A/Prof Bronte Holt is a Gastroenterologist with subspecialist expertise in endoscopy. She undertook her gastroenterology training in Melbourne, then completed four years of advanced endoscopy fellowship at Westmead Hospital in Sydney and the Center for Interventional Endoscopy in Florida, USA. During her advanced endoscopy training, A/Prof Holt completed a PhD in Medicine through The University of Sydney, with her research based on improving the safety and efficacy of endoscopic resection. A/Prof Holt is involved with postgraduate teaching and research through The University of Melbourne, and regularly lectures and performs endoscopy demonstrations at national and international conferences. A/Prof Holt is appointed at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, The Epworth Richmond Hospital and The Avenue Hospital, and is the acting Head of Endoscopy at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Melbourne.

Dr Tony He is a Gastroenterologist with subspecialist expertise in endoscopy. He undertook his gastroenterology training in Melbourne, then completed four years of advanced endoscopy fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, NTT Medical Centre in Tokyo, Japan and St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Dr He will obtain his PhD in Medicine through The University of Melbourne in 2024, with his research based on improving endoscopic diagnosis and management of Barrett’s oesophagus and early oesophageal cancer. Dr He is a committee member with the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE, EYE committee) and the Asian Pacific Association of Gastroenterology (APAGE, ELC), and is involved in didactic and hands-on endoscopy training. Dr He is appointed at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and The Epworth Eastern Hospital, and is a gastroenterologist at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Melbourne. Dr He speaks both English and Mandarin.
